Racing to Save Lives!
I’m training to participate in the Marine Corps Marathon Event in Washington D.C. on October 30, 2011 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor of Dylan Conboy, the son of a friend of mine who was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on January 7, 2011, one day before his third birthday. Dylan and others like him are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line – a cure!
