George LaMarche III is a graduate of Siena College, where he received a Bachelor Degree of Arts. As a member of the Division I soccer program, he was awarded Rookie of the Year honors and served as captain in his senior year. Subsequently, George attended Albany Law School where he was active in Moot Court and served as the Executive Editor for Lead Articles on the Albany Law Review.

George was given the distinguished honor of being hired at the E. Stewart Jones Law Firm after Law School. As an associate with that firm he tried and won numerous cases including achieving a verdict in excess of 1 million dollars for a client in only his second jury trial. He went on to become the first partner at the Jones firm who was not a member of the Jones’ family. He practiced with E. Stewart Jones, Jr. for 10 years.

George has worked tirelessly throughout the State in County Courts, Supreme Courts, City, Town, and Village Courts as well as in Federal District Courts and State and Federal Appellate Courts. His cases have taken him throughout the Capital District, including the counties of Troy, Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady; as far west as Syracuse, as far south as New York City and as far north as the Canadian Border. George is admitted to practice in the New York State Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Currently George is a member of the Albany Law School National Alumni Association.

George also presently serves as class representative for the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute.

George is actively involved in and serves as a board member for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
