George E. LaMarche III

George LaMarcheGeorge E. LaMarche III is an attorney and the founding member of  LaMarche Safranko Law, PLLC where he focuses his legal practice in the areas of personal injury litigation and criminal defense in both state and federal courts.  Prior to starting LaMarche Law, PLLC in 2011, George was an attorney at E. Stewart Jones Law Firm for ten years and served as a partner in the firm in 2010.

George has worked tirelessly throughout the State in local and County Courts, Supreme Courts, as well as in Federal District Courts and State and Federal Appellate Courts. George is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of numerous trial and bar associations, including the New York State Bar Association, the Albany, Saratoga and Rensselaer County Bar Associations, the American Association for Justice and the New York State Defenders Association.

After graduating from Siena College, George received his law degree from Albany Law School where he served on the Editorial Board for the Albany Law Review.  He is a graduate of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute Class of 2009 and was selected to serve as Class Representative and a member of the Leadership Institute Steering Committee.

George has completed intensive training in the Art and Skills of Trial Advocacy. In 2014 George graduated from The Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.  The Trial Lawyers College trains and educates lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for individual clients.

George has been named to the New York Super Lawyers list since 2013. LaMarche Safranko Law has been listed as ”Best Law Firms” by U.S. News and Best Lawyers since 2014.

Active in the local community, George was a member of the Board of Directors of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society from 2010-2015 where he was also active on the Man & Woman of the Year committee and a member of Team in Training.  Since 2010 George has run a marathon and numerous half marathons as a member of Team in Training.

George also supports many charitable organizations including the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer and Relay for Life of Southern Saratoga County, Waterford Youth Baseball and Soccer, and many Shenendehowa school activities.  In addition to his community support, he volunteers as a guest speaker for various high school and college classes as well as Continuing Legal Education seminars.
